Roles & Responsibility:
Delivery:
? Be the subject expert for Korean suppliers covering all categories.
? Identify all potential Korean manufacturing sources should get empanelled with Fluor as qualified suppliers under the guidance of the Org. Manager or CS Regional leads.
? Supporting the requests from global projects in supplier identification, qualification, and obtaining the pricing for materials/equipment.
? Conduct techno-commercial analysis, and supporting in the development of sourcing solutions that offer cost savings, without making compromise on quality.
? Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to achieve significant ongoing cost, quality and delivery improvements and assist in the development of project-specific procurement plans
? Primary owner of Fluor’s intelligence on Korean markets and suppliers, pricing trends, supply/demand and other market variables that impact the supply chain
? Assist with project / Korean supplier problem resolution in a highly proactive and responsive manner
? Review and provide recommendations to bidder’s lists with focus on competitive and capable Korean suppliers
? Assist with emergency requests from projects – Korean supplier recommendation, market information, sourcing of materials / equipment, issue resolution
? Manage Korean supplier relationships – Help with conflict resolution and expediting
? Explore and identify project business opportunities in Korea


Requirements:
? Education in Engineering
? 10 plus years of experience in engineering industry
? Knowledge of potential Client and Korean Supply Market
? Strong negotiation skill
? Excellent communication skill with presentation capabilities
? Fluent Korean and English both in speaking and writing
? Mandarin speaking is a preference
