Job Description
1. Job Summary / Position Purpose (The main objectives of the function)
? Independent ooperational support capability of one BMSC living plant with the complete handling and coordination of external service tasks conducted by service providers during production unit daily maintenance, outage, shutdown. In particularly case, provide operational support for one living plant during Turnaround with additional support.
? Improve Safety, Compliance, Quality and Efficiency of the external service ordering system and practice by using synergies in all its process steps.
For Daily Maintenance / Outage / Shutdown:
? Plan and itemize work in regarding scope of work, time frame and disciplines involved, involved parties, material provision, safety and quality requirements, unit price agreements and other chemical plant maintenance issues related to external service.
? Harmonize executions deadline and implementation with involved parties.
? Job execution supervision towards work standards, industry practices, technical procedures, safety, SOP, plant procedures (e.g. work permits, sign-in and sign-out, construction site safety) and quality issues (incl. coordination of welding and material inspection).
? Survey quantity of the performed work and confirmation of the settlements documents prepared by external service providers.
? Extend preparation of job documentation (job scope definition, compile job specific standards and technical contract documentation, survey the work volume), planning/itemizing work and supervision of the execution.
For Turn Around:
? Actively trains (with respect to cost settlement and CM requirements) and support planners to finalize the schedule of TA contractor related activities during planning phase and leads them to supervise all TA contractor related activities during TA execution phase.
? Takes the leadership to balance contractor resources according to TA schedule and schedule changes.
? Provides consultancy regarding cost settlement and actively participate in the post-TA lessons learned.
? Supports role the CM manager in defining proposals for the TA contracting strategy
Education, Qualifications and Skills
? Education: Bachelor degree required. Preference will be given to candidates with technical degrees in chemical or mechanical engineering related fields.
? Work Experience: Fundamental work experience (incl. supervision) with one of major construction or maintenance discipline at multinational gas/oil/chemical/petrochemical company or project: Mechanical, Piping or CSA. Multiple understanding of several disciplines will be a plus.
? Special skills: Good computer skills such as email, word processing, excel spreadsheets are required. SAP simple operation is better.
? Special Instructions: Proficiency in the English language is desired.
